Kiltapaviljonki is the traditional annual group exhibition of the members of Espoon Taiteilijakilta (Espoo Artists’ Guild). Espoo 50 years – anniversary exhibition will be organized in a pop-up spirit during the Espoo week on August 22. – 27.8. In the exhibition space connected to the Keran Hallie brewery concentration.
Over the past few years, Keran Halls have brought a wonderful and comfortable concentration of events and leisure activities to Espoo, where urban culture has been allowed to bloom and breathe in all its diversity. Visual arts with huge mural gardens, live music, flea market events, shows, numerous sports opportunities, microbrewery culture… A little too good to be true. While the halls are still flourishing, their other end is already being demolished at high speed. Everything speaks of the temporary nature of Espoo’s “utopia”.
Pop-up as an exhibition concept is related to momentary and temporary. The works appear somewhere, often in somewhat surprising surroundings, quickly and suddenly. After a short while, everything disappears just as suddenly. You have to enjoy the moment, while it’s still possible.
In connection with the exhibition there will be Drink & Draw event on Friday 26th from 16 to 17.30 at 8-Bit Brewing Brewery premises. 20 first registrants can take part. Registration from this link:

A former logistic center has been turned into Keran Hallit, a new center for services, goods and culture. The inner yard of the center has gotten new colors through giant murals that decorate the walls. The former landing stages has been turned into performing stages.
The center will be in temporary use still for a few years, until it will be dismantled and a new residential area will rise to the area. Before that, let’s enjoy the unique environment with wonderful music, good drinks and yummy food!
